MCing is included in all of our packages and important to keep the flow moving, the energy high, and the guests engaged.  Bula shares just the right amount with his friendly yet professional disposition and ability to ad-lib and improvise.  His style promotes a connection with you and the guests, bringing everyone together.  Bula will announce all of the important elements of your night, share about Hawaiian culture, monitor the timeline, and communicate with your coordinator for any updates.  

A lei is a symbol of Aloha and given as a representation of love, friendship, celebration, honor, or greeting.  Each Hawaiian flower and leaf has a specific symbolic meaning, with its own legends and oral history. They tell the story of the Hawaiian people, their

mythology, their legends, their history, and their culture.  Traditionally, a lei is a precious gift that should always be placed over another's shoulders, not one's own.

The Pū, as it is known in Hawaiian, comes as a gift from the kai (ocean) and remits a sound that flows across the 'aina (land). The shell is blown right before the bride's processional and again at the end of the ceremony to symbolize your journey at that moment.

The tradition of the hula is performed as a gift during all significant occasions and dates dates back to times of the kings and queens. This elegant dance depicts various emotions and elements of Hawaii's beauty.  The hula dancer tells a story through the graceful movement of her hands, hips, and body.  

A one hour vignette style show with two dancers, incorporating graceful 'auana style hula with various Hawaiian implements such as the pu'ili (bamboo sticks), ipu (hollowed gourd), and 'uli 'uli (feathered gourd rattles).  Accompanying the dances, Bula will share with you the culture and meaning behind the songs.  Included in our Hawaiian Ho'okipa Package & Royal Ali'i Package. 

Accompanying our fire dancers, is our Polynesian drummer playing the pahu (bass drum) and (toere) log drum.  Live drumming brings intense energy and a full powerful sound that echoes through the crowd.  Impressive to watch and hear, drumming adds the perfect authentic touch to our fire finale.

The Fire Knife dance, or Siva Afi, is only attempted by the bravest of Samoan warriors to honor an important ceremonial event. A machete is wrapped in towels on both ends and set on fire as the warrior artfully spins, throws, catches, and dances with the war club.  Our fire knife dancers showcase a two part routine, first with a single knife and then a double knife finale.
